Neri is the author of a book of poems, Always the Trains (New Academic Publishing, 2008). She earned a PhD in Comparative Literature from the University of Maryland, and worked as an adjunct college teacher at the University of Maryland, Northern Virginia Community College and George Washington University, and edited the newsletter of the Maryland Federation of Teachers. Neri published poems in The Formalist, Lilith, Passager, The Lyric, Poet Lore, Potomac Review, Innisfree Poetry Journal, and The Writer’s Almanac.
